My Favorite Hobbies

Since I was young, I enjoyed high octane and intense action media. I grew up watching WWE and playing games like Tarzan N64, Mario, LEGO Racers and the Spider-Man games. I remember enjoying the pressure in those games and the pace they had. I learned how to challenge myself and think creatively. The WWE was inspiring and exciting for me. I got invested in characters that were larger than life, characters that felt like superheroes and supervillains like Undertaker and John Cena.

As I got older I phased out of those things for a bit, but then I found myself getting pulled back into them. I got invested in the WWE again with The Shield stable and Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. The stories were interesting again to me and felt like they had stakes. With gaming, I would play it very casually for a bit. Mainly playing WWE games against my older brother until I got into Black Ops 3 and got to try online multiplayer for the first time. I got hooked, the game had so much progression and things you can do and level up on. I was awful at the game, but I enjoyed getting better and loved the advanced movement and speed. I ended up putting over 10 days(more than 250 hours) played total worth of in game time into the game. If I didn't have schoolwork, then I would either watch videos about it to learn more or I would play it. I eventually played Halo Combat Evolved for the first time when our class set up a LAN server to play together. Matches would get intense and chaotic and we would get very competitive, but we had a lot of fun.
